Do you remember watching It's a Wonderful Live around Christmas time? The sleepy Bedford Falls in danger of succumbing to the kingpin Mr. Potter? Somewhere in those sleepy streets George Bailey finds himself in Mr. Martini's bar, a few times actually. In the movie you get to see two very different versions of the place. One a friendly boisterous neighbourhood establishment, the second a decrepit offering.
As a bit of exploration our designer wondered what Martini's would look like if it was still around today. In that intersection between the capital M and the iconic martini glass there's a little bit of sophistication where everything just starts to work together. Enjoy our take at the restaurant that will (probably) never be.
