One thing we were careful with when rebranding Charley B’s was maintaining their brand equity. Charley B’s is well loved in Winkler and it was important that we built off of that foundation instead of scrapping it completely. We focused on small changes with big impact, like refining their script logotype, and introducing badge logos that could be used in circumstances that require a different format.
When we refined the script logotype we kept the outdoor signage in mind. Our goal was to provide a stronger solution for their storefront, that would work well in all outdoor lighting scenarios, and would still be visible and effective from the street.
Redesigning the Charley B’s brand meant redesigning the collateral print material around the restaurant. Because the brand was build intentionally, these design decisions are seamless and cohesive.
