We got to start with a clean state for this brand. Marketing efforts had been few and far between prior to our collaboration, so there was little brand equity to build off of. We quickly got to work establishing the benefits and values of the brand. We determined that the logo should be something that could clearly be at home in a garage or shop and it needed to apply well to a toolbox. We built a versatile system that allowed the logo to size up and down in a number of different colour combinations to be useable in any number of environments.
Upgrading their photography was a must for Upland. As we started to think about a new website, high-resolution images that were also high-quality would go a long way towards selling their product. This series of photos is consistent from product to product with a resolution that allows us to manipulate these photos for every situation. Products were isolated in front of a white background, while certain products were digitally painted to show colour options, all while maintaining beautifully crisp resolution.
The design of the website was simple and product focused. The design integrates multiple categories and products, organizing them into a user-friendly layout that makes it simple to purchase the product you’re after.
This website was designed to function on all devices, with a few extra goodies baked in. Products available in multiple finishes had the image change based on the selected finish and Toolbox photos would open on a hover to reveal the tool storage.
To help increase sales and tradeshows, we designed a multi-page brochure featuring all products and information. The brochure was printed in house at a custom size, perfect for potential customers to fit into the front pocket of their shirts/jackets.
